My sister turning 90, we borrowing a family car for the trip, driving up to Shenandoah valley for a nite or so, then on to a mill on a creek flowing into the Potomac river, up on western Md......then on to the hotel in Rockville Md.....then to the party in Silver Spring......that's the plot, anyway....party on the 19th, surprise,.....her b'day is actually on the 24th, but that's a Thursday.....and it's a YEUGGGE family affair/cookout planned at a park/rental

BUT if this gasoline shituation gets really BAD.....we going to be up shit's creek with no paddle......

I'm actually going to be driving down to Southern CA next month, and I know I'll be paying about $4.50/gal if it's already over $4. I'll be taking Interstate 5 south which has only 2 lanes, and there are gas stations, but since they are along the freeway, gas is usually more expensive.

I filled the truck Wednesday. Holds 36 gls so close to 700 miles of range. Hopefully that holds me till we get some stations re-filled.

If you drive an electric car, this would not be effecting you, clearly.


I mean, come on, just because gas prices skyrocket and shipping is effected by shortages, if you drive an electric car you won't experience any problems from that. You'll get your deliveries, and the prices you pay for things in stores won't go up like they will for everyone who drives a gas powered vehicle. You're special!
