1 set of tires for GRN Envy -- to race the rest of the season

Alright guys one of our resident poor college students has been graciously given the opportunity to run the rest of the season with Craig <DataWiz> if he can pony up the cash for one set of Hoosiers.

Would ya'll be willing to sponsor Marcus &/or pay for patches or phrases on a t-shirt for him to wear to the events?

I'm putting $100 in this pot

I will find a picture later but the phrase will say "Caution: Angry Gnome Racing"

PM me for an address to send a check to or Pay Pal is: [email protected]

Yes I do, and I will work for tires,

vetteman9368 04-04-2011 9:57am

Marcus is a good kid, and apparently one hell of a wheelman. If we can get this done, I'll kick in $50.

Craig, how much are the tires?

Rears are $423 each
Fronts are 348 each

$1,542 + shipping. I have access to mounting/balancing equipment, so that's not an issue.

There are 6 races left. When running alone, I've been able to do 6 events on a brand new set, so they should last. :yesnod:

Need 8 events to qualify for EOY Trophy. He would end up with 7 events, but could still "win" Super Stock, even if he doesn't get a trophy. That being said, if he possibly ends up in that situation, I'll see what I can do with the event organizer.

Remember, he'd be competing with Steve Burger in Super Stock. Steve is a multiple past champion. Won't be an easy task, but my car is better.

He wouldn't have to worry about beating me, as I run in the Pro/Pax class, thus we don't compete directly against each other.

C5SilverBullet 04-04-2011 10:44am

I'll put $50 towards the cause.
