Opps, I Did It Again

I told my wife this is the last one. Yeah right. :D

Finally got the Z shipped from Canada. Made the deal last Fall but just hadn't arranged shipping yet. Finally got it all wrapped up.

Of course, the day it arrived it was raining and the car got dirty. Hopefully, it will be dry tomorrow. This thing still smells new and is as tight a mouses ear. 9,756 miles. Got every stitch of paperwork from the first owner's purchase.

I like it!

I hate you Brett:rofl:
Damn nice find, and I mean DAMN NICE!!:seasix:
ps, If it has the "Auto Headlamp" feature and you don't know how to disable it, I'll help you for a price...... a very steep price:D

Vette Daddy 03-12-2013 11:16am

You mean that stupid "headlights up" when you turn the car on? Kind of annoying.

This car came from Vancouver.

Frizlefrak 03-12-2013 1:18pm

And to the other two nitwits above:D, as Brett said it came from Vancouver, where it might snow once or twice a year max. You can golf all year round there.......usually.:seasix:
Jesus it gets tiring teaching you guys:rofl:

Like Sweets in Canada even in South Dakota we can drive longer than 3 months. You guys got it all wrong --- It is North Dakota where you can only drive 3 months.

Man, some nice stuff comes out of Canada. Makes my 95 standard coupe look pretty ratty.

redmetallic90 03-12-2013 3:56pm

Yeah, we get at least 4 months in South Dakota!

DukeAllen 03-12-2013 4:26pm

South Dakota? You two must have the entire corvette allotment for that state.

I found the sensor for the headlights located on the dash. Just have to fool it.

It's a 95. Last year for the ZR-1. They exported about ten of the Purple/Blk ZR-1's up North. They only made twenty-five Purple cars.

Thanks. I really am lucky to be able to acquire more than one of these cars.:yesnod:

There might be a couple more than just us two. One of the big events that draws from across the country is the Black Hills Corvette Rally:

There are some great roads to drive on out in the Black Hills including the Needles Highway and Iron Mountain Road with its one way tunnels that you can see Mt. Rushmore through and its pig tail bridges. Worth taking in if you ever get up this way.
:cert:

DukeAllen 03-12-2013 6:24pm

Well if I ever want to do a cross country trip like our buddy Pete I'll look into it. :D

redmetallic90 03-12-2013 7:47pm

The Corvette Rally is a really great event. Plus, there are some awesome twisty roads to give the car a work out!

C4fan 03-12-2013 8:37pm

Vette Daddy you certainly are lucky, but I get the impression you're the type to make his own luck. What a prize!!!:seasix:

mike100 03-12-2013 9:17pm

I missed out on a Dark Rose metallic ZR in Albuquerque. I got a much lower mileage 91, but I was already down to own a second purple C4. I was once told only a pimp would own a purple Corvette.:D

Taurus 03-12-2013 9:18pm

Really a great looking car, congrats:seasix:

RedLS1GTO 03-13-2013 7:53am

You suck.

Sirius.
