12 year has a lot of bite, 15 better. About to try reserve.

The Reserve was good, but the 18 year Glenmorangie that I got Scott is way better. :yesnod: Next time I'm getting him the 25 year. :yesnod:

He's the one who has been doing all of the shopping and fridge stocking for me all these months. :yesnod: I think I brought a tear to his eye. I'm not a Scotch drinker, but there was a hotel in a town near me that advertised it's bar had the largest selection of Scotch whiskeys in the western hemisphere. They had some that cost $600 for a shot. The place closed up a few years ago, and I wonder what happened to all that stuff.

I'll spend my $55 on ammo.

i spent my $$ on clearing a septic line blockage today. $125. sigh.

The three bottles purchased at retail would probably total in the $300.00 range.
I like to try before I buy; that sampler would be a very wise investment if I decided I did not care for any or all. No nearly full bottles sitting unused, no buyer's remorse.

$600.00 a shot! Wonder what that was. I know there are some ultra rare whiskeys that can go for tens of thousands of dollars a bottle but it is hard to imagine a bar buying one of those and selling it by the shot.

Probably need to start getting more fiber in your diet....

I'm fortunate. My palate is about as sophisticated as a WalMart store.

Wife bought me this for Father's day/Birthday. I've had a few glasses and it's good stuff, but I wouldn't waste money on another bottle.
