So two months later, I am finally having surgery tomorrow

Two months after falling I am finally having my shoulder surgery tomorrow.

https://www.thevettebarn.com/forums/...ard-today.html

Between the surgeon's schedule and Becki's schedule (they require someone bring you, stay there during the surgery and then take you home) it has taken until now. At least I will finally start the "getting better" process rather than biding time.

This summer sucks...no golf, cant drive the new Vette, cant do much of anything.

Fun part is going to be working the 5 strokes back off your handicap after all that down time.

BTDT. Do the PT. I've had both shoulders done and my golf game, after changing my swing, has gotten better.

What did you do to them.....injury or frozen shoulder?

I've got calcium build up on both of mine, and after weeks of physio and exrays they were no better. I've found that doing 10 windmills each way, every day is the best therapy. Sometimes I forget and the pain comes back....:ack:

I stand facing forward and rotate each arm as far as I can go in circles, first forward, then switch direction, again as far as I can all the way around. 10 times in each direction, then the other arm. Breaks up the calcium starting to build up around the rotator cuff. Seems to work for me.

Good luck! Heal fast.

if you say so. "Each Way" sounds too much like "both ways" :leaving:

Follow the P-T, don't over do it on the return to normal, and most importantly, take pics of the hottie nurses. :D

You'll be gripping your putter like a pro again.

:iagree:

Follow the surgeon and PT's order to the letter. Trust me, as someone who had two surgeries on the same shoulder, once is plenty.

Good luck and I'll say prayers for the entire surgical team, you and your wife.
