Recomendations Please- Where to buy?
 

I need to get a helmet for my wife, and I would like to get some seats for my C6 Z.

I am just starting to get into the road course and auto X stuff, so I am still a newb. I have run 1 low speed event last year and looking forward to running more.

Anyone have a store / site that they could recommend?

I even sold my 2010 Tacoma and got a 2011 F150 so I can haul the car on a trailer.

Saferacer.com has the best prices on helmets. Be sure and get SNELL rated as that is what everyone requires. NO DOT.

Personally I would find a local shop that sells seats. You'll want to try them before putting them in the car. A couple of other tips: Try the different harnesses-Some people hate 6 point because of the nut crushing effect.
You'll also have to buy some hardware to "trick" your car into thinking the original seat is there or you won't be able to use your telescoping steering wheel.

Thanks for the info. I already have the harness bars and I have 2, 5 point harnesses, but can't use them with the stock seats.

You would be surprised how hard it is to find a place in Houston with race equipment.

I might not be searching right, but have not been able to find any information yet.
