That one in particular requires a lot of work/discipline.

I'll have to talk to you about Mojo one of these days. Got some really odd comments from him at a meet 4 years ago that completely puzzled me.

Tommy is a certified Master GM tech and works on all Vettes. ECS hired him when his regular gig fell through. Long story.
Doug will be tuning it like he did with the last one. Those guys rock!
Scott

Thanks Scott! :D
Sure shoot me a PM, be glad to help you out if I could.
Yeah Chris and Doug are great guys! I was at a few track events with them, and was Chris' nurse when he accidentally drop the trailer door on his foot a few years ago. I really like the way go that extra bit for their clients.

It was good. Tomorrow the plant is having a big too do with 200 trucks that have a Cummins Turbo Diesel. There will be BBQ and a monster truck. Rumor is a track has been created with logs and stuff that you can drive on with your truck.

Got an e-mail about a book about Presidents from the perspective of the SS agents. Here is an exerpt.

Quote:

Ronald Reagan = The real deal. Moral, Honest, respectful and dignified.
Treated Secret Service and everyone else with respect and honor. Would
always thank everyone all the time. He took the time to know everyone
on a personal level. One story was early on in Presidency the President
came out of his room with a side arm attached to his hip. The Agent in
charge said "Why the pistol Mr. President." Ronald Reagan replied, "In
case you boys can't get the job done, I can help." It was common for
him to carry a pistol. People do not know that when he met with Gorbachev,
he had a pistol in his briefcase. Upon learning that Gary Hart was
caught with Donna Rice during the election Ronald Reagan said, "Boys
will be boys, but boys will not be President"

well is 200' deep, plenty deep. was producing lots more water last fall/winter, but i think with the ongoing draught, it is taking longer for the remaining ground water to seep into the well casing and let the well pump re-pressurize the system.

pray for rain.... June-Sept is supposed to be the rainy season... :toetap:

Here's a couple of pics of the things that have been keeping us busy lately.

We stained the deck Monday in near 100* temps. :willy: We could only stain the main deck, though. The extension hasn't been drying quite long enough. We started on this last fall and it was a project that just seem to get bigger as we went along. We ended up replacing more of the deck than we had originally planned. It's a slow process when it's primarily only the two of us working on it.

http://05gto.smugmug.com/People/Misc...P6066175-L.jpg

The blocks under the deck are for some landscaping projects I have planned. This is what I have been working on when not working on the deck.

http://05gto.smugmug.com/People/Misc...P6056162-L.jpg

When I took the pic, the blocks aren't leveled out. Using some chat, I have about half of them level now. When finished they will be two high and I'll plant hostas and add some red mulch.

That's not good! I hope you guys start getting some rain soon. It's a shame there isn't a way to pipe the excess water in the North to the South. That wouldn't necessarily solve your well problem, though. :(

Very true. It's so dry now that we had to water the garden last night. The vegetation was looking a tad bit parched. According to weather.com, most of the next 10 days have a chance of storms.

 There is usually a small NSFW section. Since the NSFW section is half of OT maybe we need a small SFW section.

all my posts are SFW, and kid friendly too!! they might make you groan or think, but they don't offend.

you could probably make a list of repeat offenders and put them on your ignore list. is there a way to not show pix?

DAB 06-10-2011 11:43am
