I don't even want to open these threads anymore. They make me realize how old I am.

One of the best metaphysical/philosophical writers ever without ever being really known for it. Will make you uncomfortable like Ayn Rand, but without the eugenics. In this selection, he will tell his own stories of being disillusioned with the Catholic church through the eyes of the heroine as just one thread.

He's no Dostoevsky in complexity, but his books are pretty compelling to read.
