A day late.
I am one of those that still feels a tightness in my throat and a quiver on my chin when I hear our National Anthem.

You're short a dollar, too... :leaving:
9/11 is one of those days that I don't want to remember, yet I can't forget. |

I still get a little choked when I hear our Nation Anthem. And it pisses be off when I see people who kneel or or show any disrespect when the anthem is playing. When me and my wife was in Washington we both got choked up when they played the National Anthem and then taps at a wreathe laying ceremony we attended at the Tomb of The Unknowns.

I love that anthem. Our Constitution is our champion. Canada gave me birth but America gave me a home. Served 3 years in U.S. Army 1967-70. No regrets. If you're not willing to assimilate, GET OUT! |
