When you get hit by a car.....
Why do your shoes/sneakers always come off....no matter how tight they are tied....?
Gets old having to look for them all the time:leaving: |

Rule of thumb: If you lose one shoe, you were probably injured, but will live.
If you lost both shoes, you most likely died at the scene. The violent force of the hit causes your limbs to flail wildly, and with force, which causes shoes to fly off. |
It still amazes me that they come off like that :willy:

Sometimes more clothing than your shoes will leave your body. WARNING: gruesome video.

No thanks

If a body decelerates quickly enough the skin on the hand can come off intact.
It's common enough there's even a Medical term for it: degloving. |
