He did not build this one, but I thought it was interesting. Coming up for sale.

Love it! I’m in the market for something of this nature so I would like to know when it’s for sale and price, if it’s not too much trouble.

Over the top gorgeous. Always wanted a '55 2dr post after seeing and obsessing with American Graffiti and Two Lane Blacktop. I kick myself for passing up one about a decade ago that had original lettering and was a local drag car. Their is a group called 'Southeast Gassers' that race these and other '60s styled drag cars heads up. Check them out on FB.

The Southeast Gassers came to Kil Kare last Aug. and put on a hell of show. The cars are set up for 1967 NHRA gas and super stock racing. The only thing I didn't like is no et's or mph announced. They will be back to Kil Kare dragway again this year.:cert:

Insurance. Those days are "demonstration", not racing. We were prohibited from using timing devices in our cars on some days so that the track didn't need to pay the extra costs of hiring crews for a racing event.

We have an old drag strip here Paradise Drag Strip from the '60s. They came one year and put on a good show. I have a friend with a '55 that participated. I wish they would come back,but, our little track has some issues I imagine they didn't like.

Just curious....your post starts "HS friend does customs..." but you show something he did not build. What was the point?
