The way back machine: look what I found buried in my closet at work

I'm going through two storage closets that were gifted to me by the previous tech at this campus. He never got rid of a damn thing....and look what I find buried in some old boxes in the back. So old even some of you can recognize what these are :willy:

Nobody wants to see a pic of your old, dusty floppy. :slap:

Ronins2ndCuzzin 07-21-2021 12:38pm

Holy geebus...I didn't know those still existed. I though the time owners purged them all from the time line.

It's the rotary phone of computer storage disks.

Here, this is what a rotary phone looks like. Extra points if you can guess what that yellow book next to the phone is.

I got tired of my disc flopping around, so I wear tighter underwear.......

I have tossed SO much electronicus crappicus over the decades.....BUT if it was TV oriented, through the decades it was all FREE, in the last 15 years or so, I have shopped around and paid less than 300 for a ~36" TV.....

Don't need anything larger, only set ~12' away from the stupid screen.....

Viewing from that distance probably requires at least a 70-80 inch screen dude.
