I just heard the details about this. 800 Corvettes, 20 miles of closed 3 lane interstate, NO SPEED LIMIT, all for a good cause, the Marine's Toys for Tots program!

Do you need to register or just show up or what? I didn't see any info on that link.

Somebody called them and they said they would post the signup info sometime this month. I'm thinking Ratpack AC Roadtrip:yesnod:

I heard last year they were told to keep it under 200MPH.

I'm thinking this is a Ratpack kind of event. :angel: Kids Charity Event with high speed implications. Heck dropping $$$ in a casino is not a lot different from dumping it into a Vette!

Friday night run up the Eastern shore a ways, crash :beer:and get up in time to make it an easy drive to AC and the Toys for Tots Run :drivingskid:

Check out the casino action after the T4T Run and either find a place in AC Saturday night or run back down the Eastern shore.

I am up for this. Sounds like a great trip. I would love to let the car run all out for a few miles.

I did this last year and it was a BLAST!!! Going to do it again for sure!! I was able to get my baby up to 156 before i had to slow down to go through the toll.(did not have to pay Kerbeck picks up the tab) They were going around with a truck and a loud speaker and telling everyone to act like adults and not to do anything stupid!! I ended up talking to a couple of NJ State Police and they had guns up and running and i heard one was clocked at 210 and another was clocked at 220. It is a damn good time and I am all for going with the RATPACK!!!! Count me in!

I was able to get video of me doing but because it is so long i was not able to upload it on youtube. Plus this was the first big event I did in her and I sounded like a school girl cause i was happy as hell with the type of car I had just purchased!

There is a registration form that you do need to fill out and when it comes close to the time it will be put out on the other forum by the person that runs the Kerbeck name. Once you send in the registration all you need to do is show up with a toy or two and that is your fee. They had so many toys last year they had to go out and get trash bags to put them in so they could transport them.

Joe(ZZ4) was up there as well and took quite a few pictures. Im sure he will chime in on this one as well. I believe he ended up staying at the Tropicana and said it was reasonably priced. I stayed at so dump and will not stay there again that for sure.

Let's keep our eyes open for the registration to show up and if anyone has a good idea on how to get reasonable rates at a casino post 'em up.

Tony I will start looking at see what i can do. We have a travel department at work and i might be able to use it to get some good rates. I will keep you updated!!

(I heard this EVIL sound coming from the airfield behind the stadium, went over to look and they were running this LEO Z06....OMFG :o_o::willy:)

Brian and I stayed at the Tropicanna...He got us a good Military discount, I don't remember off the top of my head what it was. It was not the Trump, but it was a place to rest our heads...and it had a Casino downstairs. :leaving:

Of course some people are just being net nut swingers for those who don't know about Vettes

If you pay close attention to the speedo, the first time you see it (when it is near 200) the green MPH/KpH indicator is in a different position then it is the second time you see it when he is going much slower.

I was flying solo so there is no video of my run....163 in a topless vert did not leave much free hands or attention for video.

I can't image going that fast whith wet roads.
