Is anybody still using KaZaA for P2P sharing?

Just wondering if there was an alternative to KaZaA or if its still the primary place to get stuff. Used to be on there a lot in the 00s but not so much for the past many years.

You probably still use Napster as well?[emoji849]

Awesome way to share viruses and trojans.

Either of you two geniuses have a recommendation; or is it just easier to poke fun at the OP?

I use Apex DC, and I have an account with a long time PC/Gamer friend. We share a total of 30 TBs.

There is another web site: Warez-BB.org where you can get music. Most are on sharing sites that require membership to allow you to download at full speed, but I normally download using a slow speed.

Exactly why I'm looking for alternatives.

I heard about this before, how is it done? Let me rephrase that; How do you like to do it? I googled and it looks like several options but wondered what you preferred.

i don't see YT rips as pirating. The bands are putting up official videos for free and I can connect them to my BT audio in my truck should i so desire. I jsut don't want video playing and once again....it's available for free so it's fair game in my mind. Hell, I'dd have to abide by that if i was a rich and famous musician, but i'll have to wait for a Radio at Random Reunion Tour for that to happen.

I was talking about the Kazaa. :yesnod:

YouTube rips are basically the same as making a cassette recording of songs off the radio - nobody cares. However the audio quality of YT vids is generally pretty poor, so if I really like a song I always end up buying the CD. :yesnod:

 i got tired of risking PC std’s and other exposure just to save a few bucks on music. I now rock Apple Music family, for all my music needs.

Nah about a year ago i cancelled both our XM subscriptions and a Pandora Subscription and replaced with Apple music Family, added my inlaws and my sister to the group.

I think the Ram comes with 5yrs traffic and 1yr music or something like that.

Was just talking to the wife about that. Wouldn't work for us though as we don't have iPhones. I suppose I could downgrade her though, as her LG V20 is rather outdated now...

I dont think you have to have ios devices to use apple music, we have the music account tied to my Echo 2 and i think the Fire TV’s as well.

But not being an ios family, would amazon music work better?

How hard do they rape you starting in month 7? :popcorns:

Wathen1955 02-28-2020 6:25pm

Even though I download music, if I like the music album then I buy it. Last year, I purchased either 3 or 4 CD's. My problem - their is not a whole lot of music that I like anymore. I do listen to Pandora, and they do provide me with some new music which I may like or dislike.
