In sales we used to call that "working the service lane". Mainly just striking up conversations with people waiting for their cars. Not all salesmen thought this was productive, but I've sold a few cars that way. Hell, I sold a used truck one time to a guy who was getting an oil change at the Honda dealer next door. Step on my lot and you're fair game.:yesnod:
