Wow....relearning basic algebra

:banghead:

I had to do my homework for my private pilot course calculating weight, center of gravity, and a few other things. Wow.....the basic stuff you can forget after 20+ years of not using the skill sets.

Give me binary and hexaecimal any time and I'm good with that...but basic algebra? I turn in into the koko of the math world :banghead:

Oh, if it makes y'all feel better, I got 100% on the quiz so I won't be flying unsafe.

He was flying in weather conditions that even the police in that area were not allowed to fly in. Well, his pilot was andd even then the air traffic control had them circle the area before flying under VFR but still ended up int he fog. I'm guessing engine failure based on witness statements about the sounds they heard before the crash.

Correct, the answer is 6, no matter what Raazor says. :yesnod:

Egnalf 01-27-2020 2:04pm

X+1=2
(-1x-1)+1=2
x=1
or 6 if you were to use modern math like the auftenbung of syntax and semantics

Could a person get a commercial license with a DUI conviction in their past?

I think after 7 years, but I don't want a commercial license.

You can be president with a die, why not a pilot?

It's not like you are designing a bridge and then having to build it. I am living proof that you don't have to be a math genius to be a pilot. That said, I haven't used my license in nearly 20 years. I love to do it, but kids, other shit, etc. Plus, it's a rich mans hobby. Save up!! Having the goal of getting your license is really fun though. I was about 16 hours deep into an instrument rating when I figured out that I was never going to fly for money...ever. Then it hit the skids.
