I was looking at a car for sale from a man in Kali. He seemed to know very little about the car, said he bought it from a friend who had it restored. I eventually asked for his friends name and telephone number since the seller wasn't knowledgeable about the car. He said, "I'm not going to do that; you'll have to make your decision on what I've told you."

I told him that he made it easy: I'm not interested any longer in the car since you're hiding something.

While I also wouldn't have given you the friend's info right away, I would have asked you to let me check with the friend to see if that was okay. I think that would be reasonable.

But my gut feeling is the same as yours. He's hiding something.
