In all fairness, it was a female bear.

We get a lot of Bears up here. Most will book as soon as they see you. We have only had one with an attitude. It took a bird popper out of the 12ga to convince him not to rear up and look tough! My wife one day chased one off of our deck using a leaf rake. I explained to her that if he had chased her she never would have made it back to the door, slipping in her own shit!! :rofl:
