Lost count, but quite likely over 40 counting me, wife, and daughter. I've slowed WAY down in the last decade, as both of my Z06's are 10 years old, but I used to have new cars ever 1-2 years for a very long stretch. :yesnod: I have the oldest car of all 3 of us. :rofl: I WILL have the new Supra that gets unveiled in January 14th at the Detroit Auto Show.

As far as new goes, let me think....'92 Corvette, '95 Acura Legend GS, '95 4 Runner, '96 4 Runner, '96 Supra,'98 Accord, '98 Supra, '01 Highlander, '99 Lexus GS 400, '02 Lexus GS 430, 2nd '02 Lexus GS 430, '05 C6, '07 Tundra Crew Max, '08 Z06, '15 BRZ, '17 Outback 3.6R.

So that's 16, the Supra will be 17 new cars in 27 years.

A shedload. I spent much of my youth and middle age buying, fixing, trading and selling cars, bikes and 4 wheelers. Best estimate is in excess of 50 total.

A few years ago at the other place someone started a thread like this. A couple of fine folks there called me a liar.
Most of these I titled, some I never did. I had my second Vette almost five years and never titled it. Longest I owned a car was thirteen years.
Most I had at one time was seven, all running and driven. I got a letter from the city two years ago about "inoperable vehicles in my drive". (I had a '91 LeBaron vert/ 68k, '97 Tbird /74k, '97 Firebird Y87 /158k, '01 I30t /160k, '00 G20t Infiniti /160k, plus her '00 Quest /150k). I called them and told them if they had looked at them they would have seen all had current tags.
Almost all these vehicles I paid cash for (only financed four cars in my life). Only lost money on maybe ten, usually because I kept them too long. This does not count cars my ex-wives bought.

Well, here goes.

Right now, three.

Last year, ten.

Total since I bought my first (69 Camaro) in Aug 1977, 211 cars and trucks. Yes, 211. And five motorcycles.

15 cars, 1 pickup, 4 motorcycles over a little less that 50 years ... I guess I hang onto them for awhile ...that is for both me and wifey.

In 28 years of driving I’ve had only 8 and only one if those was purchased new - my current truck. I tend to keep my cars a long time, my 94 vette I bought in 99 and kept for 15 years. My last two trucks I’ve had for at least 8 years each

27 years of driving with no moving violations. Can you believe that? Honest to God truth.

Tickets? Oh yeah, I got those in my misspent youth. Seventeen total, including three at one stop two different times (drag racing and a couple other offenses). Got a few dropped when I went to court. Talked myself out of a few more before they were written.
Last one was a couple years ago (speeding, registration, insurance). Had insurance but no card with me, hadn't registered it yet (only had it I think three days), but guilty on the speeding. Registered it before court, brought the card, and he dropped the speeding in lieu of court costs.
