If you can get your hands on some white peaches. Those things are the sweetest and best ever. Most don't like growing them or transporting. They are super delicate. You can get some good ones from Alabama, and N.C., too. I hope this year was good for all growers.

What was the name of the market down that way with all the meat? Big advertising all along I-75. I brought back some good stuff a few years ago. I think i can order online from them. Thanks.

I could literally eat peaches until my stomach burst open. Love them when they are good. I HATE when I get a wooden dry one.

We have some great white peaches here as well, usually mid to late Summer. They are great.

I love Georgia peaches. When I was a kid a guy would come around with truck full of fruits and vegetables. My would give be money and a list to buy stuff from him and he knew I like Georgia peaches and he would give me one. Good memories.:cert:

Striplings probably. They are in Cordele, but have a store in Perry now.

Lots of people are surprised to find out that New Jersey is normally the third largest producer by state, behind CA and SC, and AHEAD of Georgia. We used to go to a local orchard here, and pick them right off the tree. If you get them at the correct ripeness, they are immensely better than what you buy in the store.

I may have to place an order :yum: I like supporting specialty businesses/family farms like these.

Another  place in Georgia - https://www.sunnylandfarms.com

They have the best mammoth pecans, pecan butter, jumbo cashews, etc...have never been disappointed in any of their products.
