I think the point of this video by the editor was to create a 'mash-up' of these classic dance scenes to modern music...all of these movies or performances can still be viewed with their original music in various parts of the internet or television, if so desired :yesnod:

I learned tap from *this guy*...quite an impressive resume back in the day, knew all the greats like Sammy Davis Jr, Milton Berle, Wayne Newton, Glenn Miller, and Diana Ross. He could move! Very difficult to keep up with him in his class for sure :willy:

So did I. Hollywood back then was a very different place. They supported this country, did what they did best which was to make great pictures and didn't make themselves look foolish in the process. The level of talent back then was unreal; People had to be able to dance, sing and act to the highest level. Not like the weak so-called "stars" we have now who are more interested in being amateur political hacks than real performers. The crop of people we have as stars today wouldn't make it as pages back in the day.
