84 Corvette no power at the fuel pump...
 

Hi... New Corvette Owner here...

I have two issues, Im trying to resurrect an 84 Corvette with stock Crossfire Injection. It hasn't run in 15 years or more!!

1) I have no power at the fuel pump? So far:

I have replaced the "fuel pump relay" and the "fuse" at the fuse box for the fuel pump.

I have power at the "orange wire" at the relay and momentary power at the "green" wire.

No power at fuse box at the fuel pump fuse location?

No power at the actual fuel pump?

The car will run if you pour gas in the injectors until it runs out of fuel?

2) Instrument panel is VERY DIM... almost none readable?

Any help you guys could provide would be great. I have a Chilton's manual its not great. I have a CD on the way with the factory service manual but it wont be here for a week or so....

When you get your CD with the FSM manual, go to the electrical section and
look on page 8A-21.
If your CD doesn't include the electrical/schematic manual, let me know.
I can send you a CD with all the manuals on it. It has a great schematic
and the text walks you through the entire start-up chain of events and
page 8A-21 and 8A-22 has all the fuel pump support scenarios.

It's actually a DVD, I'm out of blank CD's but it works on any pooter
WIN 2K +

You can print pages you're working with and let them get dirty or torn or
covered in blood. Just reprint fresh ones as you need them...
