“I can’t allow the State of Israel to take away that light by humiliating me & use my love for my sity to bow down to their oppressive & racist policies,” Tlaib tweeted, using the word sity to refer to her grandmother.

“Silencing me & treating me like a criminal is not what she wants for me. It would kill a piece of me. I have decided that visiting my grandmother under these oppressive conditions stands against everything I believe in—fighting against racism, oppression & injustice,” she added.

Rashida wrote a tearjerker letter asking to be let in to see her nana. So the Israelis said, sure, come make a personal, quiet visit to nana.

Rashida then said she didn't want to go after all. I guess having to pay for the trip personally and not use it as a a showboat for her hatred wasn't that appealing after all.

So, that wasn't her intention after all (to visit family). She faked it to gain attention and to create a false-positive... and CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC were there to swallow every drop of her charade.
