Social Networks are "amplifiers for idiots"

A little off topic.
Did anyone catch ‘American Murder’ on Netflix? It's the Shanann Watts murder story. Her husband snuffed his entire family, kids included. Obviously it's a tragic situation and I'm not victim blaming here but this woman spent her entire ****ing LIFE on Facebook. About halfway through the first episode I was all but yelling at the TV; "Woman. Shut off Facebook. Jesus!" |
Yes, why go visit people when you can sit in your darkened house and social media them?

This and the other place are social media. All you have to do is go to Politics and controversy at the other place to see Eric is not wrong.
