Fact. It's a risk vs reward thing for me. The risk is well worth the reward. And I've crashed. Bad.

Not everyone feels that way, and that's cool. :cert:

Really? Seems kinda low. Even my pig Bagger does 10 mpg better than that.

It is really funny that when car/moto people find out I keep my bike in the house they generally think it is rad...but my family (and other non-moto heads) think I am actually crazy.

Fastguy 02-05-2013 12:09am

I would be afraid of it leaking. I had a needle valve in the carb stick one day and came home to find a pool of fuel under my bike. That is why most home owner policies forbid storing any gas powered equipment inside the living quarters and why garages are fire rated.

yeah.....hubby shot down my idea of keeping my bike in the (unused) dining room when we were trying to find more garage space for the camper.....:D

Mrs. Colleen 02-05-2013 2:25pm

We need a place with more garage space! :willy: When you have 7 vehicles and a one car garage you have to get creating. :Jeff '79:

Mirroredshades 02-05-2013 2:53pm

If there was a straight entry into my house, I would have bikes in the dining room too. LoL.

The nice thing with bikes is they fit in tight spaces. Mine is in front of my wife's car diagonally between the trash barrel and my standup compressor.
