Daughter's Homecoming dance
 

Crazy to see your "little girl" growing up.

She has always gotten straight A's in mostly honors classes, works 4 nights a week serving seniors at an assisted living community, has 3 teachers that nominated her for National Honors Society.

She has saved up enough for her first car and buys her own clothes and extra things she wants.

Proud Dad for sure.

I've met his daughter and she is exactly as described. Pretty, smart and a genuinely good young lady.

Her boyfriend has a nicer car than I did when I was 30 :lol:

He is also bright, hard working, and a good young man.
Better be, that fukker knows I'm watching. :lol:

Beautiful young lady. I will say that hem lengths on formal dresses have gotten somewhat shorter than they were when I was attending high school dances.

I'm sure they'll have a great time. Make sure he has her home by Midnight!

Your obvious pride is certainly justified by the picture and your description of her activities!

Dang. Can’t believe how fast they grow. I hope she had fun and you didn’t stress too much. I dread the day I see my daughter get in a car with a boy.

No stress at all on my part. She has shown herself to be trustworthy and self respecting. Only had one "incident" this past Summer and was very small on the life scale.

At 16 this is her first boyfriend and we "screened" him via a network of friends to get the scoop.

We also track her phone so we know what's going on in addition to all of us parents having each others phone numbers; and we talk. :D
You have to be that particular with anyone in the teen years.

Doug, not sure why you felt this was an appropriate way to handle your "concern".

If I had a similar issue with another man's daughter, I would most certainly have a face to face discussion about it, were I desiring a truthful resolve. :cert:
