Property Tax Bill

1 Attachment(s)
Besides cable, electric, and insurance bills, I got the only other bill I have, the annual property tax bill from the county.

Went down $4 from last year, $664 to $660. At least it went down.
That's for my acre & 1/4 piece of land and dwelling. I love it here.:D

Nice! My taxes are only a little over $400 a year, not per month. :seasix: Im not on an acre, but very close to the beach...:)

Ugh...
Closing in on $5k for a very modest house.
Been going up ~8% per year the last few years...and it is still assessed a good bit under market value. :ack:

I live in an area known for reasonable property taxes; mine is around $410/month.

I don't pay close enough attention to know how mine varies but that's approximately what I pay every 6 months for 1/3 of a city block and 2 adjoining sections of woods.

That's my driveway on the right

That would likely run you a grand a month here. Maybe a lot more if they saw the inside of your club house. Our taxes on 1/2 acre are almost that much although we don't have state income tax. For now.

My grandparents bought a place in San Diego in the mid 40s and had it up until around 10 years ago.
Prop 13(?) worked out well for them.

Not bad, Norm.

I'm satisfied with mine at $1470 for about an acre on the river. It would be nice to have a work shop but my property floods.

About the same here for over an acre and 3 buildings on it.Quiet bedroom community with high taxes hardly any rentals so no riff-raff to deal with here.

Norm 08-16-2021 11:32am

Hope I'm not confusing anyone, that's $660 a year, $55 a month. :D

Still chicken feed but at least no sales tax here or state income tax for those of us that still work.

86RAG 08-16-2021 11:41am

I'm paying just under $10K for 2 acres, my home, and garage :banghead:
