Torque caused the frame to twist, which in turn, caused the rear glass hatch to crack.

No, no....my point was the REAR glass OVER the engine. So, I guess it’s all but confirmed that the C8 is in fact a mid-rear engine design???.....

Well, there was lots of speculation, and to be honest I haven’t really followed every new update along the way. So, I guess the answer to your question is yes, in my mind there was some doubt. Obviously, not any longer...
