Custom Fender Flares

10 Attachment(s)
Perhaps in the wrong section. But my GTO is presently at a nice stage to showcase at little. Several repairs / enhancements by Speed Logic in Houston including replacing several torn polyurethane bushings, AC, front toe hook/license plate, larger transmission cooler, braided brake lines with DOT 5, and oil catch can.

Jody with Speed Logic introduced me to Leo with LA Autobody for custom flared fenders. Already had a mini-tub from many years ago. But still not big enough meat to the pavement. With Leo’s work, now have 315’s up front and 335 rear. Mono-block forged custom offset wheels by BC Forged, also introduced to me by Jody with Speed Logic.

Speed Logic is now working with Peitz Performance:

GTO and I will be at MSR-H for TDE on 14-15 March 2020.

Thanks much, Chris. As you are aware, has been a long haul...and not done yet...

Good to see you around; looks good man! :cert:

Sure as hell wish I could get that much shoe under my goat without tubbing.
Got 245 18s now but I've got enough back space I think I could get 285-295 out back. That'll help a bunch. (TX Speed LS7 resto mod)

I'm house poor and don't even have a garage to park the C4'r in. Soon the car will be on blocks like in Alabama.

Didn’t know your red was an ‘89...same year as my other C4 (black) :cert: it is not stock, and like most C4s, always needs work :Jeff '79:

For a "modern" GTO (2004-2006), the biggest meat you can get is 285. This is with a custom offset with zero room to "wiggle". Cannot make camber adjustments.

A mini-tub is substantially cheaper and easier than custom bodywork. Then you can get up to 315's. My mini-tub was originally conducted by ETMC (East Texas Muscle Cars) in Longview, TX.

When that car downshifted the 285’s were a handful to keep the car pointed straight, ill be the 335’s are great.
