radio antenna

Have an 89 conv and was troubleshooting the radio antenna not working. Found the relay and connector was corroded. I can find a replacement relay but need the two connectors that go to it. Anybody know where I can find them or has anybody found a different relay and connector that will work. Thanks

More than likely a Packard Delphi connector.

I got the connector and replaced the relay. Got a new antenna and replaced it (WTF!) but the antenna will not go up. I have good power to the relay from the radio but still no work. I got another antenna but still same problem. Is there any way to check the antenna without having to install it? HELP!!

No CD playing right? The radio is on. I know, stupid question but sometimes the obvious gets overlooked.

Ensure all wires are properly connected. You'd have to back track from the antenna back to the relays. I dont know on the 89, but on the 95-96 it is behind the passengers seat.

I just added a switch to leave mine down at all times.

I checked all the wires to and from the relay. I also got 2 new antennas and they still don't. work. Any way I can check the antenna with ouy plugging it into the car?

Test the motor, if you have power to the antenna's motor then, you may need a new motor. If there is no power to it, keep back tracking. This is a tedious project. I've been there, done that more than few times.

I tried 2 brand new motors and neither of them worked. They are AC Delco units. Has anybody had problems with them?
