Some raptor pics
 

Took a trip to the Rhode Island Audobon Society yesterday for a raptor shoot.
We had a small group of people with five birds that had been in Audobon care due to injury . It wasn't as fun as finding them in the wild, but it was a good opportunity to get some close ups and get more experience with the camera.

First was an American Kestrel. She had been injured by a car and couldn't fly well again.

Now the big daddy, Great Horned Owl. This poor guy lost a wing from a gunshot in Alaska.
