oh.

4473 bars habitual drinkers from buying a gun. if you are convicted of a felony, you also lose your 2A rights. so that's existing law.

Yadkin 09-11-2022 9:00pm

I have no problem taking away the rights of criminals, including drunk drivers.

By the way, my FIl was killed by a drunk driver. DUI is taken way too lightly in this country.

Shall. Not. Be. Infringed.

Not to defend DUI involving death but most first offense DUI's are a one time offense and end of story. A second DUI arrest, then I agree more severe restrictions should be imposed.

Judging from this statement, I don't think he has both oars in the water.

Amazing, if you do not even know how to shoot the gun, can you carry it? So anyone who knows nothing about firearms can get CCW in your state. I had to attend an 8-hour class and qualify for every weapon on my CCW permit. I had to show I knew my gun and shoot from 3 yards, 7 yards, and 15 yards, hitting the target 70% of the time. The shooting test is also timed 12 rounds in 30 seconds with one reload. Magazines California only 10 rounds.

Where does it say that? I tired to download the form from ATF, but I seem to be having some sort of set-up problem. I don't remember the words "habitual drinker" being on any of the forms, and if it is, I would like to see the definition. Someone who has one beer with dinner most nights could easily be considered a "habitual drinker".

I remember from the FID application, that the references had to state that the applicant was not a drug user, or a "drunkard".

He mad because criminals get guns without background checks and those of us with CCW don't have to go through strict background tests.

tis such a ****ing dumbass!

Ignore that scumbag. It's former banned member Jetskifast/Big Ted/BMW Biker and any of another 20 forum handles he creates looking for attention.

In the other thread, he claims that he had to show that he "knew" his gun. I have to wonder if he has ever torn it down this far. I rather doubt it.
