My new Harley
1 Attachment(s)
After 34 years of riding Harley's, I finally bought a brand new one. I have been leaning towards the geezer glides for a while, and the time seemed right. After searching for leftover 2019 Road Glide Specials, I finally talked to the folks at Harley of Atlanta in Lithia Springs, and they beat everyone hands down on a new 2020. I left home around noon on my 2012 Fatboy, and came home with this. They had it parked outside, gassed up, and ready to go when I got there. The whole transaction took maybe an hour tops. It was a 250 mile round trip, so I was able to get used to the new bike on the way home. Even on Atlanta interstate traffic, the new bike was fantastic. Now if I can only figure out all the nerd features, I will be set!

"Geezer Glides", lol, you're not that old yet.
|
Congrats, very nice :cool1: :cert:
I went to the HD website and checked out the features. ( Your choice of black looks way better the red on the website) I see it has electronically linked brakes. That will help the folks who are "hesitant" to use the front brake :yesnod: |

Pretty sharp looking, like the black, probably rides nice.:seasix::USA:
I miss my riding, had the grand geezer Ultra, with all the junk I put on it, dressed out at about 950 lbs. It was the traditional heavy hog. Gave up riding in '11, moving up in age, just getting a little unsure of my riding skills and reaction time. I knew if I went down, I wasn't getting back up. What did Dirty Harry say...."A man has to know his limitations!".............:D Good luck and stay safe. |
