Have you noticed? (Electoral College)

When the left WINS, all is good.

When the left LOSES, the EC must be done away with.

Curious, eh?

and when Trump wins re-election by popular vote (but not an EC win)... the cult will riot - wanting the EC re-instated.

I'm on Team Trump but still don't necessarily like the EC.

Just like it was rigged until it went the Donald's way

I like the Electoral College because I don't want California, Illinois, and New York turning the rest of the states to s**t, too.

Utah and Arizona need to stay like they are for another 40 years or so.

First thing the losing side will always cry is the popular vote.
The EC ins't going anywhere, and thank God it isn't.

And because it isn't going anywhere, the liberals have done everything they can to manipulate the EC. For example, NC's 1st and 12th district, which the democrats had redrawn when they were in control to gain more black votes. The Supreme Court ruled in February of this year that that was unconstitutional and ordered the state to redraw the districts with race not being a factor.

If the Left really want this have them support a constitutional Convention.

Watch how fast they STFU. They have too much vested in a broken system as it is ( so does the Right).

You want out of the EC? Good. I NEVER want NO more means tested welfare EVER.

Oh and let's talk term limits and ending SS.

Watch them all STFU.

The thing that those who want to argue for removing the EC fail to take into account is the number of disenfranchised voters who stayed home because they live in a state where they can make no difference in the EC outcome.

Because of that you cannot look at the popular vote results in an EC election and claim that it would have been the actual popular vote outcome should there not be an EC.

At some level that ends up sounding like an argument for ending the EC, and to a point I see it.

But the fact that "flyover country" would become even more of a political desert should we go to a popular vote still leaves me on the side of the EC.

One other thing about the popular vote.
Subtract the dead voters and hillary no longer has the popular vote.
