My little burg tried to elect one to the city council. WTF? The saddest thing is, I think she got about 40% of the vote. The cancer of Houston is spreading. Harris County is lost, they voted for a twenty something girl who's only paid job was working as a translator for a couple of years to be county judge (think of it as the county manager). Their district attorney is a lesbian whose main claim to fame is releasing people who got arrested on p.r. bonds (read: signature and promise to appear, no actual bail). The Houston Police executed two law abiding people in a home invasion with a bogus warrant, and the police chief is off testifying to Congress encouraging them to take away people's guns. I guess so, it makes it easier to do home invasions when people are helpless.
