Blender fruit
 

Not nearly as good as it sounds. I took a can of tropical fruit blend (which is basically pineapple and passion fruit) and blended it.

Do not recommend. It’s not bad tasting but sort of nasty as a slurry.

My immune system is trying to kill me again. I didn’t eat for a couple days and I was eyeing up the dog but she won’t fit in the blender. So fruit.

I’ve been fighting this flare for almost two years now. About five days ago it got much worse in terms of pain. This morning was brutal and I thought I’d go to the ER. Still might.

On the 1-10 scale pain is about 4-5 all the time 24/7. I almost don’t notice any more. Then last week it shot up to 8-9. No fever. I tried hitting my thumb with a hammer but now my hand and my gut hurts. (Thomas’ well thought out suggestion).

Stress sets it off. And for some reason I’m stressed these days. :rofl: coughBidencough

I should go on liquids but I’m so damn hungry. Cat scan coming up. Can’t wait to drink Satan’s Radioactive Ass Sweat. I hope I spray that shit out of my ass all over the scanner.

After my surgery in July my gastroenterologist put me on Stelara. First infusion was 2 weeks ago. I can give myself a shot every 8 weeks to keep the symptoms at bay.

Stress was always a factor when mine flared up bad.

I may be going off Remicade and on one of the other drugs like Stelara. I see a lot of positive results with that drug. Giving myself a shot beats sitting in the cancer center for five hours for Remicade.

I hope it works for you. Were you on a biologic before Stelara?

I was on Humira for the last 3-4 years. Stelara is supposed to be much better. Time will tell.

We are such bad asses the only people that can kill is are ourselves.
