****ing hell, we all know schools are targets, why the **** do they not protect these schools? My little guy starts school later this year, this is wholly unacceptable that we still have not safe guarded these schools. No not guncontrol, but entrance control/management, ect.

Homeschool (or private school) your child. It's truely the best situation currently.

We home-schooled our last child. The district had an awesome program where students can still participate in all activities ie sports, clubs, music, assemblies, dances, events etc.
They just spend the majority of time studying at home and attending campus on occasion. It cut-out 3-4hrs a day of nonsense as well.

Good question.. And not eye candy check your ID kiosk either.
A cop at main entrance goes a long way and controlled access. It's difficult to do and costly.
Unfortunately 90% plus are known in advance by someone in the school and not reported as not to be a snitch.
A few like the one in Texas are way outside of the norm and may not be preventable (should have been mitigated however).
Another issue I see is they've made super sized schools were it may be impossible to control such violence due to sheer numbers.

Seems to me dead kids and teachers are something we should all be whining about. :(

anyplace where conceal carry is not allowed (not necessarily statewide bans, but may be a specific location where it is forbid) ... the wackos go there to shoot up the place. It's the only locations where they have the advantage.

Think about it.

Shooter killed, reported to be a 28 year old woman with 2 AR style rifles and a pistol.

ok, how about armed guards? bet you'd get plenty of volunteers if you asked. start with the concealed carry rolls. parents of kids will defend theirs and others well. retired folks with time to offer society.

news is reporting that it was 14 min from first 911 call to when the police shot the shooter dead.

14 minutes.

if someone had been there, it would have been way less than 14 minutes.

you can shoot a lot of rounds in 14 minutes.

Absolutely disgusting.

Parents should be brought up on charges.

all exterior doors should have been locked, and yet, shooter got in thru an exterior door.
