2011 Kia Sorrento. AWD, third row seats, loaded. It'll be a good grand kid hauler.

NeedSpeed 04-03-2012 4:06pm

I've rented a few Kia's. I surprisingly liked 'em.

Very nice, indeed

Truck Guy 04-03-2012 4:07pm

That thing run on kimchee?

Nice little SUV :seasix:

I get to drive it tonight. We'll see. We are headed down to Charlotte this weekend- it'll get a workout. I do like the rear view camera.

Doug28450 04-03-2012 4:29pm

I thought it was going to be a 1991 Taurus.

vtelvr 04-03-2012 4:33pm

Wife looked at those, the sportage, optima, and the Nissan murano. Chose a Nissan Altima after all of that. Rather surprised at the bang for the buck on the new KIAs.

Hard to argue with a 10 year warranty.

With gold trim

You'll like it. My wifes Santa Fefew is pushing 76k and she still loves it. We'll be replacing it with another Hyundai within a year. Gotta love the warranty too.

oyealiz 04-03-2012 7:17pm

I was afraid it was going to be a mini van.

The Sorrento is much more acceptable! :D :)

Yea, there was NO way it was gonna be a minivan.

My wife got a 2012 in October. Other than the suckey OE Kumho tires, which I just replaced with Dunlops, it's a nice ride. The tires made a huge difference......:seasix:
btw, you'll never use the rear camera after the novelty wears off, if you're anything like us.

First thing I did was back up to see how close I could get to my truck. Wife almost slapped me.

Not very accurate , is it ?.....I have another two to three feet when the constant chime is on.... It's ok I guess, but I prefer the over the shoulder look, or the side mirror.

Very nice rigs. One of the best values in a SUV out there right now, IMO. :seasix:

Should be about 6" from the closest part of the truck. Every one I've ever driven was dead-to-nuts accurate.
