Working from home

I’m staying out of the office this week to work remotely. So far, I’ve cleaned out landscape areas, moved mulch, built raised beds, moved and spread topsoil and trimmed trees.

If this is what retirement is going to be like, I won’t survive.

son, you have to pace yourself, or you'll run out of projects that you can do tomorrow.

you need someone to love
you need something to do
you need something to look forward to.

:yesnod: :DAB:

I just keep telling my wife "I'll get it done, you don't have to remind me every six months.":leaving:

I've been working from home for a little over 3 weeks now and will never again complain about traffic over the Buckman Bridge here in Jax, FL....until the fall semester starts and traffic picks back up again.

As for working from home, this sucks. I've gotten so much done, but I'm getting inundated with stupid questions left and right (doing tech support from home). Think I might try using an Indian accent on phone calls from now on.....

You should have taken each project like this:

Decide on the project. Determine the mount of time. Include each project with several breaks of beer. Make sure to take a nap before the wife comes and gives you shit. Take a break and watch some porn for several hours and look at tomorrow for another project.

Repeat and rinse.

Between conference calls, Full detailed the Grand Sport and the Dually. Today was change the Hot Tub from Winter to Summer. This needs to stop. I've spent lots of $$$$ on house projects instead of track stuff.

This sucks !

Either Indian or Filipino. Either way, can't understand a damn word he says. And no matter how many times I've rebooted my computer, the problem still exists. :banghead:

I have been retired for over a year now and I don't have to rush to do anything. Take breaks when I want and work when I want. It's my time now and I like it.:cert:

I worked from home for over 20 years. My kids and wife understood that when I was in the office anything short of arterial bleeding was to be handled by them.

JRD77VET 04-08-2020 9:42pm

My job is "essential" so it's my regular 8 hour days :yesnod:

Plus, since a bunch of folks have time off, they're ordering cub cadet parts :D

My wife is always home now, getting a bit annoying.

Working from home sucks.

Everything takes longer and I swear people just don't want to think; they'd rather send 10 stupid e-mails before actually doing anything. Well, that's always the case but it seems worse now.

Plus seems like certain people also like to send meaningless e-mails every so often just so the rest of the team knows they're actually working and I find that annoying.

My commute is only about 10-12 minutes so this saves me almost nothing in terms of time or fuel and doesn't nearly compensate for the additional annoyances.
