Rain, Rain go away
Damn. It has been raining steadily for the past two days. According to my rain station, don't even call it a weather station anymore, we have had 7" of rain this month so far.
This is has been the wettest year I've seen since living in SW Indiana. We are getting concerned at work about how to get the Aumina up the Ohio river with all the flooding. The lower Mississippi is a mess from what I hear. So glad we put the roof and gutters on last year. Watching the thunderstorms move thru now. Might have to hire some goats to take care of the lawn. |

Thank God I had gutters cleaned out

Yeah it’s been a crazy spring/first couple of days of summer. I’ve mowed more this year than I can ever remember, I’m just thankful I’m one all sand, ground dries out in a day
Today was probably the nicest day this year, sun was out and high 70s, rains coming back tomorrow |

Send it here. We've been scorching hot and dry for weeks.

So far at my house this year we've had 4,210 inches of rain. This may be a bit off, but it's close. Right now it's still raining a bit after dumping another 4" today. My neighbors to the east of me, their yards don't look so great. As in some having about 12" of standing water in their back yards that abuts a creek.

I"m on one of the taller hillsides in Florida, total elevation ~60' I"m 1/2 way up....but 30' of flooding puts about 1/2 the state under water lots of it WAY UNDER......and overall we short quite a bit of rain for the last 6-8 months.....
here in NE region anyway..... |
