The Judge
after about a 5 week search... I finally found one in Texas . Arrived at my nearby Ohio FFL Tuesday. 3" barrel model
http://www.tim-yvonne.com/temp2/Judge-1.JPG Just shot a few rounds in the back area; quite a pleasant surprise. :D All I could find was the .410 shells it shoots, but not any 45 Colt ammo yet. http://www.tim-yvonne.com/temp2/Federal.JPG http://www.tim-yvonne.com/temp2/Federal2.JPG My brother owns the Raging Judge model; it is a hand cannon. :eek: |
I was expecting a GTO. :(

Get some 410 slugs :seasix:

Neat hand cannons, I use the shot and the buck, my snake charmer around the homestead.

Had one and never fired it. Traded for a G43. Reminds me that I still probably have a few boxes of ammo for it.

I never cared for the next gen Goats. The 65-67 are killer IMO. Scott |

I looked at the Judge, but if I get one like that, likely the Governor (S&W version)

This is only one of a 4 part series Paul Harrel put out. Check out the ammo he uses before you decide what to pick up. :cert:

I have both Raging Judge and Judge. You can run out of ammo with the RJ, and successfully beat the perp to death while holding the barrel and hammering their head with butt of revolver. :yesnod: It's a heavy one. Pictured with a .38. . |
is it accurate to say the Raging version is a two handed weapon?

Yes/kinda/sorta/do you want accuracy with fast consecutive shots/are you weak? ....you can hold the top of the barrel until it gets too hot. :Jeff '79: |

Also have about 1K of the .45 Long Colt rounds, but don't care to shoot those too much. Oh, I have a longer vented barrel. Makes it easier to stay on target and sometimes I'll shoot clays with the regular .410 shells. |
the shells I pictured were the only ones available in our area. Not even hunting .410 type were in stock.
I bought every box they had; 7. |
interesting video detailing different .410 shells available (using the S&W Governor):

Pew Pew!:rofl::leaving:
