Personally, I'm not interested in an all electric Vette. 1,000 HP hybrid...sure, but no noise electric? Pass. I've raced a Tesla and they are wild, but numb at the same time. Another reason my 2 7.0L Z06's will never leave the stable. Last of the big displacement, and with proper transmissions.

Sea Six 08-09-2020 12:46pm

But at what driveable distance (range)?

MadInNc 08-09-2020 12:47pm

What a no brain, non thinking dumb ass....

MrPeabody 08-09-2020 12:57pm

What about all those people who, for 50 years, said the next Corvette was going to be a mid-engine.

They were wrong. Until they were right.

It only has to make it to the car show and back. Seriously, how many golf bags it can carry is more important to more Corvette customers than the range it has.:yesnod:

The most concerning part about this is that BuyDone may still be driving.

We're three months from the election. Three. Think back to what it was like in 2016 three months before the election. Hell, you can go back further than that. Political ads were absolutely everywhere.

The D have done a remarkable job keeping their front runner out of the public's eye - for obvious reasons. Strange behaviour for a party's front runner innit?

I’m convinced the Dems will not let Biden anywhere near a debate. Sadly, I think they’ll get away with it.

There is no POSSIBLE way they can put this guy next to Trump in a debate.

:funniest:

Like a chicken in an alligator pit.

And yes, the Dims will trot out a few excuses and get away with it. The Pubs will just sulk and mumble. In short, just more of the same DC dance.

Ratings will be high when they do. :yesnod:

Dems will put some sort of impossible condition on it, like Trump has to release his tax returns or Biden won't debate. This has already been suggested by an op Ed for the NYT.

No friggin way will he debate Trump. It would be a disaster for the democrats inside of the first five minutes, and continue like that for the duration.

Biden stating emphatically several times last week that he is looking forward to debating Trump was the setup for the DNC taking him out. So it will look like he was willing, but due to circumstances that weren't his fault, he couldn't.

Bet they make it pay per view

I'm not sure that they would go there. If they demand that President show his then Biden would have to show his. Not sure Biden would want to do that.

Why not?

His son's taxes might be interesting though. :seasix:
