Deja Vu QX4
 

Back in May the wife crashed her 2000 Infiniti QX4. She loved that truck. Five or six years ago I bought her a '99 model but she didn't like the color and after a year or so her son got it. She wanted Pearl white. Period.
I had a couple of really nice Pathfinders I offered her but she insisted since I had an Infiniti (my dd is a 2000 I30t with 108k) she should get an Infiniti as well.
After a two year search I found one in Atlanta. My son and I made the trip and brought it home. I spent the next six months replacing the front and rear suspension, brakes, mass air, battery, and tires. Sucker ran and drove like a dream. We made several Florida trips in it and after 2k highway miles the oil dipstick would still be right on the dot. Drove it the last two years without any problems.
First week of May a friend and her went to Florida. On the way back, in a heavy rainstorm, she hydroplaned and struck a guardrail. She didn't get injured, but the truck took a major blow to the left front. I could fix it, but at that point I'd be in way upside down on the value of the vehicle. It's still at our place in Florida right now.
I bought her a minivan to get her by til I could find a replacement. Bought a white Xterra 4wd but she didn't like the ride quality. (That's fine. Made a grand profit off of it!) So a couple of days ago I was perusing Marketplace and lo and behold! An identical QX4 came up.
I mean identical. Same year, color, and model right doen to the options. Picked it up last night. She is thrilled!

I've had 3 qx4s. I dont blame her for liking them. They are a great little suv. Shame Infiniti doesn't make them anymore. I keep hoping to stumble across 03-04.

They pop up a lot on Marketplace and Craigslist. I found about ten in pearl white within 150 miles or so.

I think the FX35 is their version of the Pathfinder.

This is out third QX4. Also had three Pathfinders.
