Today's Bum
 

so i'm heading to the grocery store, headed north, have to turn left and go west at a large intersection (Cerrillos and St. Francis). have to wait for the light. i see a bum on the median, has some hand scribbled sign (couldn't read it), looking for handouts, has ear buds and is smoking a cig.

if you have money for smokes, then you have money for food.

lean guy, i'd guess mid 30s, looked fit enough to work.

get my groceries, drive back home.

get to another intersection, and have to wait for the light (near Trader Joes), and at the bus stop is... the same guy.

where is he going? does he have a permanent home? if he's homeless, why is he spending money on bus fare?

get a hair cut, and get a real job.

Around here they like to use dogs as props, out there in the freaking heat. Mofos need slapped upside the head. Poor pups.
