Time for a new iPhone
 

my iPhone 6s can no longer keep a charge. sat down to have breakfast, turned it on, showed 100% battery, moments later it turned itself off. hooked up to a battery pack, once it came back on, showed 10% battery.

guess the latest one is the 12. about 800. sigh....

You can get the new iPhone that will be coming out, BUT it does not come with a charger or ear buds. NO THANKS.

the nearest Apple store is in Albuquerque, and hour's drive, so i'll stop by the local ATT store (next to Lowes) and see what they have available.

I got an iPhone 11. Not the latest/ greatest version but hopefully it’ll be more reliable than the 5 Droids I’ve gone through in the past 6 years. Either the batteries mess up or the software crashes. So I thought I’d try the Apple.

If you are otherwise satisfied with your phone, just get a new battery. There are kits that come complete with the tools you’ll need and many youtube vids to walk you through it. I changed both mine and my wife’s. Each kit is about $40 IIRC.

I also attempted to put a new battery in my Apple Watch. That was a fail. So I found a watch on Amazon for $35 (not Apple Watch) and I like it fine. It doesn’t do everything Apple Watch does, but it does enough for me.

I am going to be selling my iPhone SE (2nd generation) which is about 2 months old once my iPhone 12 pro arrives on 11/11

Doug, I am still using an Apple 6S. This summer my battery started draining rapidly also. Made an appointment at the Apple store and they changed the battery. Cost like $59.00 but since the phone works fine other than that it was a lot less than any new IPhone

I still have my Iphone 7 ....It's paid off along with my daughters Iphone 8 Plus and my Ipad.....going to ride it out with a small bill until Apple decides i need a new one. :yesnod:
