My late Grandfather had the chance to play Pebble Beach in 1957. It was $250 a round then.

He did admit towards the end of his life that was his ONLY regret.

We have been out there twice. If you stayed at The Lodge at Pebble Beach, that’s a pretty decent price.

Our first trip out there, when I made the reservation, they asked if it was a special occasion. I told them it was our 40th anniversary. I had booked a standard room at the lodge. When we arrived, they upgraded us to a room on the second floor looking out over 18 green. About 20 minutes after we got to the room, they delivered a bottle of champagne with a hand written note congratulating us on our anniversary. It is a truly special place

You still gotta walk with your junk out for that? I haven't golfed a a long while.
