When shopping here in Floriduh for a house, I must have been inside at least a dozen homes in the swamps......evidence of flooding over years was rather apparent.....so I finally went to a SW region of Jax here and found a house with some 30' elevation off the swamp at bottom of my hillside, another 30' or so to top of my hillside......get 30' of water for a flood, and probably 3/4 of the state be under water......SO I guess I take my chances.....

Another pro tip about sniffer dogs. If you're trying to hide something from them sprinkle some pepper around. Worked for me :D

I went to NYC and brought back some bags of specialty coffee as gifts for a few friends and neighbors. The TSA opened all them, there were coffee grounds in all my shit, and a nice little note from them saying, in effect, "yeah, we ****ed with your shit, so what?" I made a complaint that went nowhere. Back when the airlines handled their own security, they only cared that I wasn't going to bring the plane down, something everyone was OK with.

I assume the TSA thought I was El Chapo, trying to smuggle drugs. I mean, so what if I was? a bit of coke in a checked bag isn't going to bring down the plane, assholes. Talk about mission creep. Yet another reason I haven't flown in almost 20 years.

From what I’ve observed the semi-cops are the most obnoxious bureaucrats you can run into, always wanting to throw their weight around.

doug is harmless, to all peoples, but himself, but I believe he currently has great reasons to keep it between the lines, especially trying to be a baller on a budget.
