RatPackers...sound off

I know being a Vette Barn Forum, there is a ton of us in here...Hell, there are even some Virginia RatPackers that are not from VA.

There were three of us up at Kerbeck's this weekend representing...Two of us even wore our RatPack shirts.

Since the requirements to join are so low, I was able to claim membership.

Yo...present for duty

zz4vetteguy 10-11-2009 8:17pm

If you are a VA Peep and want to know about them, just ask one of us...It is like a Mason..."to be one, ask one."

Sure, but there are tons of requirements you must meet and keep up with.
1)You must not be a prick with a status symbol car, you must be a Corvette enthusiast
2)You must promptly pay your weekly dues of $0.00
D)You must attend all of our never scheduled meetings

It is not really a "club" so to speak, more like a Fraternity of Corvette lovers. We plan a good handful of things from Cruises, to races, shows, go-karting, or just getting together for dinner. Really laid back and easy going, you just show up for what you want, when you can....not like those stuffy BeachCombers...

...LOL, just kidding guys. :takdir:

You can get official clothing made at an embroidery shop in Virginia Beach, and if you get up with Steve <AllThrottle&NoBottle on CF> he sells the Rat Pack stickers

I'm with Jeff on this one.

That is the reason I bought the coupe instead of a vert. :nutkick:

A weekend at the Barn with Gary can fix that for you.

I know, I went down before and Gary walked out with a sawall in hand and I haven't dared to return since.

He likes to reverse engineer too, he likes to put tops on cars that don't have them as well.

PortDawg 10-17-2009 8:45pm

I was actually thinking the other day about the Ratpackers that have disappeared.

Some are very missed.

Some not so much...:winky:

Some of us have been around for a LONG time, some are new to our little club that isn't a club. I do miss our impromptu and Hooters cruises. No one seems to want to do them anymore.

BTW, all are equal and welcome. That's the Ratpack way.

See ya'll around.

I am always up for a cruise...impromptu is hard to do, but am always up for getting behind the wheel.

I didn't get to attend near as many events this year that I wanted due to work and family. I hope next year I get to do more, there was a lot going on out there this summer.
