NY Lib visits Florida, gets triggered and gets arrested

Guy sees a “Let’s go Brandon” bumper sticker on a truck in a parking lot. Keys it in multiple places. Didn’t stop to think that there were security cameras all around the lot. Hilarity ensues when LEOs show up at his vacation rental and slap the cuffs on him

Anjdog2003 04-27-2024 3:33pm

He thought he was at Key truck not key West.

VITE1 04-27-2024 4:02pm

Its too bad the cars owner did not catch him.in the act and beat some sense into him!

Stupid f@rt thought he was in Wash DC or maybe NYC....

That kind of crap is a hot button with me and the act of a coward...
Problem is, although he's a tourist, we have a lot of other similar @holes moving here..permanently.

Tikiman 04-29-2024 5:59am

Typical lib. Gets triggered because somebody dares to criticize the pedophile.

I hope his home in New York is being broken into by illegals while he is in Florida. He should get what he voted for.

Frankie the Fink 04-29-2024 6:04am

Didn't realize it was a felony (over $1,000 damage); he won't fare well in the Florida justice system, unlike many other locales. Happy vacation, fella....get your wallet out and I don't care if they keep you in a cell with Big Daryl until you don't know a f@rt from a yawn.

DDSLT5 04-29-2024 6:26am

It simply amazes me how this arrogant asshole thinks he has the right to damage another person's property because he doesn't like a bumper sticker that he sees. Keep your damn hands to yourself!

CurtP 04-29-2024 7:57am

It’s why I don’t put any bumper stickers on my vehicles. Liberals are toxic.

There have been a few incidents where people keyed Teslas because they don't like Teslas.. It just happens that the Tesla records everything. I remember back about a year or 2 ago, a fairly wealthy guy keyed a Tesla and was recorded by the Tesla's security cam. How embarrassing to get hauled away by the cops..

Bill 04-29-2024 10:54am

It sounds like the victim's car was already dented up. I'd say the resolution here is for the guy to pay to fix the dents and repaint the whole car, and in exchange, have him plead guilty to some low level misdemeanor, like littering, or something, assuming he doesn't have a criminal history.

And he should direct pay for a rental car while the victim's car is in the shop.

This is exactly why I don't have a Trump sticker on my vehicles, or anything anti-Brandon, or anything political at all, actually. Back in the day, I had a Ron Paul sticker on for years, but I figured anyone who actually knew who he was would just think, "oh, that vehicle's owner is retarded" and just leave it alone.

For years I had a Gadsden flag on my car, but since Trump, libs have gotten so rabid that I have nothing on my cars.

I watched the video and the cop was saying it was going to cost $6000 to repaint the victim's Tundra.
In CA, $6000 would MAYBE cover the cost of painting the front clip and blending the doors. A whole truck?? 20k easy. Easy.
It's totally a felony, and this Slewfoot MutherFukker needs to get spanked hard for it.

Yup, same here. I haven't even taken advantage of the new FloridA Gadsden license tag for that exact reason.

I occasionally fly a Gadsden flag at my house, and other than a short lived kerfuffle with the HOA documented here

https://www.thevettebarn.com/forums/...t=Gadsden+flag

no issues. And after they were suitably shamed, I now fly the Come and Take It flag occasionally as well, which, as I read the Texas statute, is NOT protected, unlike US military flags.

I'm in a fairly conservative area, so that helps. And if I had a neighbor that actually had a problem with my flags and came to speak to me about them, I'd try to work out an accommodation, maybe just fly them on certain days, like Texas Independence Day?

DDSLT5 04-29-2024 11:51am

I think I need a Gadsden flag!

He'll be under indictment....he hasn't been convicted of anything. Not sure how things work in FL for stuff like this, but the guy clearly admits guilt and probably wants to get out of it as fast as possible. If I understand correctly, the guy owns that FL house, so they're well off.

I don't see why this couldn't settle quickly if the dude makes enhanced restitution right away, rather than dragging it out, making the victim sue for damages, etc.

Have him pay to make the victim's vehicle better than it was right now by fixing the pre-existing damage and a total repaint, have him pay a fine, and give him probation for a year. I think that would be fair, and it would take the case off the docket. He'd have to be inconvenienced back home in NY checking in with a probation officer once a month, plus paying those fees.

And maybe FL will catch a break, and they'll sell the house there, because they won't want to be embarrassed every time they go there. Surely all the neighbors know what happened.

The problem with Gadsden haters is that they wouldn't come talk to you about it, because they aren't really men.
