Kittie prozac

Anybody’s cat on prozac?

Normally, if ours got any more laid back, I'd have to drag her around the house - except when she wants to scratch furniture.

Only when they have to go to the vet. Gabapentin about 90 minutes before they go in their carrier. Works really well.

What is the vet suggesting for your cat? Have you tried alternatives? Sentry makes a calming collar. Ive never used that but I have used the ThunderEase diffusers with good success (also pheromones). But they can be pricey and you have to replace them every 4-6 weeks. (Make sure to get enough for your square footage.) They also make a Thunder shirt for cats that my coworkers swears by.

5mg. She is almost 12. She started peeing in the laundry room. OMG! She has always gone outside or used the litter box in the laundry room. I have always put pp pads under and around the litter box. She is peeing on them. Vet checked her for uti, stones, etc. Her exact diagnosis...”She’s just being an ass”.
Fletch the dog has a thunder shirt that works. I’ll check out the pheromones. Thanks!

I recommend these:

https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B071XDJN...VEP3RDMDKYJYZM

Or multi cat: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B071KGL3...ing=UTF8&psc=1

I have these refills on auto ship: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B072R63B...AM0HST954G9QVS

Regular (not multi cat) https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B071GVPB...H2GX3AW8CYWTB7

I think the multi cat is more for bickering and fighting. The regular is more for marking territory and spraying.

I haven’t checked Chewy lately. Chewy may have them cheaper.

I do not recommend these. This style diffuser “smokes” when I have them plugged in. Like they get too hot. I don’t trust them. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07MW3WZ...ing=UTF8&psc=1

Plan A: took her to the veterinarian
Plan B: prozac
Plan C: pheromones
Plan D: relocate
Plan E: send her to Snide so he can make cashew chicken.
